of our lofts. We have photos from a distance and close up shots
to show the details. Craig is very analytical so when he has a
problem, lots of thought goes into finding a workable solution.
He is always coming up with creative ideas to make his lofts functional,
healthy and easy to clean. We hope these
ideas will help you. They may
inspire
you to find a better way to solve the problems you see in your
own lofts.
Craig teaches vocational classes, so he has the training and the
tools to use to change and improve his
lofts. His lofts have undergone many remodelings, improvements and
changes. He always seems to have some project in the works that
will make things better. Carol says he is happiest when he is in
the middle of a project.
Many of these ideas were born because something was frustrating
Craig. For instance, he designed new pigeon crates and a new way
to crate his pigeons for races because of his bad back. Every time
he had to carry his old heavy crates, his back would hurt. It was
especially hard to carry the loaded crates out of the flying coop.
The hallway is too narrow to carry two crates at a time and there
are three doorways to go through. He always had to carry the crates
in front of him in an awkward position. Because he trains so often
this was causing him a lot of back pain. There
had to
be
a better
way.
