Easter Pigeon Screen Saver

An Easter screen saver with photographs of 20 beautiful racing homing pigeons from Breakaway Loft, home of Craig Goode and family in West Point, Utah. 

Download the file.  Remember where you saved it. Browse to it in the Windows Explorer. Double click on the executable file and it will self-install in the Windows folder on your C drive.  It will be set automatically as your default screen saver. 

 

This screen saver will look best if your computer is set at a minimum screen resolution of 800 X 600. It will also look fine at higher resolutions.
 
Installing Wallpaper Images

Right click on the screen resolution that matches the one set on your monitor. After the picture loads on the screen, right click on top of the picture and choose Set as Wallpaper.  The picture will become the wallpaper on your computer.  If you are not sure what your screen resolution is, try both sizes and see which one looks best, or right click on your desktop, then choose properties.  Select the Settings tab to check what your resolution is set at or to adjust it to a new setting. 

 
If you would like to permanently keep the picture as a wallpaper choice and you use the Netscape browser, follow these directions. If you would like to permanently keep the picture as a wallpaper choice and you use the Internet Explorer Browser, follow these directions.
Right click on the Start button and choose Explore.  In the left pane of the Windows Explorer, scroll till you find the Windows folder and left click on it.  In the right pane scroll down till you find the file called Netscape Wallpaper.  Right click on the file name and choose rename.  The file name will become highlighted.  Type in a name for the file and click Enter on your keyboard.  Close the Windows Explorer program.  Right click on your desktop and choose Properties.  Select the Desktop tab.  Scroll down till you find the file name you gave the picture.  Select it and choose Okay.  Repeat for each picture you would like to save. With the full sized image loaded in your browser, right click on the image and choose Save Picture As.  Click on the down arrow to the right side of the Save as Type box.  Choose Bitmap from the list.  Click on the down arrow to the right of the Save in box and choose the C drive on your computer.  Scroll through the list of folders in the main window till you find the Windows folder.  Double click on it.  It should now be in the top Save in box.  Click the Save button.  Minimize all your windows so you can see the desktop.  Right click on your desktop and choose Properties.  Select the Desktop tab.  Scroll down till you find the file name you gave the picture.  Select it and choose Okay.  Repeat for each picture you would like to save.
