When he first got the electronic clock, he had it outside under one of the landing platforms. After hitting his head numerous times as he hurried to see what his time was, he moved it inside to this location. He no longer has to stoop to read the time and it is protected from the weather. He stores it in the house during the off season, but here during the race season.
