This photo shows an ingenious device that Craig made to help him with the electronic clocking bands. It is just a piece of plywood that has rows of short dowels which are glued in holes that he drilled. The holes were drilled in evenly spaced rows and columns. Under each dowel he placed a sticker with a number on it.

Before the races begin, the guys usually get together and enter their birds into the computer and assign each entered pigeon a clocking band. Craig writes down the number of the band next to the pigeon it is assigned to. Then he places the bands on this board to keep them in numerical order. When he gets home, it is easy to put the correct band on the correct pigeon.
