This picture shows a closeup view of the middle section of the feed bin. Craig built two sections that are each a foot wide and two sections that are six inches wide. He puts barley in the first section, and turkey grower pellets in the second section. The smaller sections contain peas, and wheat. The peas are a mixture of three different types; Austrian, Trapper and Maple Peas.

In this picture the bins are quite low on feed, but we wanted to take the pictures so you could see the design of the bins. The back of each bin is blocked off so the feed will all flow to one end. That makes it easier to scoop up the feed when the bins are low. It is easier to reach the front part of the bin where it is the deepest.

Craig uses these two pitchers a lot. He sprays oil on the feed and then sprinkles his powdered nutrients on the feed. Then he shakes it up and mixes it to cover the feed. Some of the powder sticks to the pitchers as well as to the feed.
