Here is the other side of the board. What a mess! We are glad it is not the loft floor.

Craig has found since he replaced the floors in his lofts with the expanded metal and started watering the birds from outside the loft that he has had much less of a problem with disease. With the lofts always dry, he rarely has a problem with canker anymore like he used to. The birds seem to be much healthier. The lofts stay much cleaner and the air is not stale. He also doesn't have the wet droppings keeping the floor wet where it can mold and mildew. It is a much healthier environment for the birds and for those who enter the loft.

Craig's brother, David has pigeon breeders disease and our oldest daughter has asthma. They both wanted to be involved with the pigeons, so the lofts needed to have a healthier environment. Now there is less droppings, less dust and fresher air in the lofts. They are able to be around the birds without becoming sick.
