Here is one last view of the west side of the loft. In this photo you can see the white section along the bottom of the coop. This is where the slide out trays are that collect the pigeon droppings. Craig cleans these out a couple of times a year. This fall he will also scoop some of the droppings out from under the fly pen. We use the droppings as fertilizer on the garden, so it is just a short wheelbarrow trip to dump it and then the kids spread it out before it is tilled into the garden soil.
