Craig is just watching the pigeons bathe in this photo. He learns a lot just from observing the pigeons in their regular activities. He watches for birds that may not be feeling well or may have an injury after a race. He is very observant and doesn't miss much.

Several times a year, it seems like he gets pigeons who come home from a trainer or a race with broken legs or cuts. He has become quite good at doctoring these injuries. The kids usually get to play nurse and help him by holding the injured birds.
